Siamese crocs in Cambodia

There’s much more to Cambodia Vacations than Angkor Wat, the Killing Fields, and perhaps the beach at Sihanoukville that are of course a must when visiting Cambodia.

Yesterday, the BBC broke the news about the rescue plan of the rare Siamese crocodile. In fact, in 1992, it was declared extinct in the wild.

In recent years, however, conservationists have discovered several sites where these crocodiles exist. As the numbers are still critically low, the plan is to replenish the numbers with a captive breeding programme.HotelsCombined.com

As you can read, Siamese crocodiles can inflict considerable damage on a human. So I do not recommend catching one yourself when on your Cambodia Vacations.
